BHs are really vunerable to jeep mounted .50 cals, AT rounds, TOWs, and tank fire. Not to mention that if AA tracking is made to work properly, it's gonna be a pain in the tail roater too.

You just gotta make bring that bird down a priority!

We still do chopper parties on Songhua every once in a while when we are US, or on Mishtaur...but they are almost pointless. Not like the good ol days.

The repairs take far too long now. I can deal with them making them slower - but wtf - finding the damn moving sweet spot for getting the repairs is a pain in the ass.

Then both sides would have nice FUN transports to exploit... er, I mean use.
My biggest b1tch about the other transport guns is their incredibly limited movement and field of fire - it's what, like 60 degrees?

That too. Mostly I find that their slow rate of fire makes it really hard to hit anything tho. They do have better penatration on those guns, tho. They will go through fences 'n stuff quite nicely where the BH's round burst on the surface.

Those that know what they are doing, communicate, and work as a team still use the bh. It's now treated like the specialty tool it is. A means to take flags quickly especially in large cavernous maps such as Fushe or Dragon. Or an effective weapons platform able to engage and destroy any unit on the ground INCLUDING tanks (C4 rules).

With the new patch there is no more random mindless scrambling for the bh. But those noobs are still there. More attention is now paid to the attack choppers and planes. Basically imagine all the smurfs you saw waiting for the bh and just move them over to those other spawn points.

The smurfs that used to benefit from what us teamworking types called "leeching" by climbing in our chopper and doing nothing now must work for it so they go elsewhere. The new patch has really improved things for us.

LoL....Those that thought the new patch would own me were wrong.

I fly as an engeneer and orbit the hot zone and let the gunner pick off targets as the other engeneer keeps us flying. I also am a squad leader so you can form in the blackhawlk and just fly around and kill the enemy and rack up points. Gost town is a great map for this as there are no jets to ruin you're fun.

I realize it (BH whoring) sucks the fun out of the map and stat whoring for a few points isn't worth making the server suck and that's why I don't do it, but to each his own.

Being able to own is fine, but not when its so hard to stop it.
But a team of two guys in the MEC chopper can own a BH an Mashtuur ANY TIME. My expert explosives proves this.

When we are in a MEC chopper and focused on a BH for a lil mid air c4 fun that pilot, expert or not, wont have time to do anything but evade.

You shoul always fly as a medic, so you can heal any troops that might catch ground fire.
