Sky dive incident

Having just installed the game I selected a map and entered combat.

The voice over guy then says to me "your night vision goggles can be activated by pressing the 7 key" (or something similar)

So I press the 7 key, night vision springs up, whats that rushing towards my face, OH THE GROUND.

Could he not have said "your parachute can be deployed by pressing such and such"

VERY USEFUL that voice over guy

Haha, that's funny. I had a similar bit of "useful" information from the narrator. At the TV station on Warlord, we were in the process of capping the flag, and the voice over said I could use the grappling hook to get on the ledge.

Yeah I was playing the Single Player and had the same thing happen to me! Glad I did it there instead of in a real game!

Same thing happened to me when I first played that night map with the air strip an the brits. He says to press it, and I do, then I go to move around and Im like WTF why aint my keyboard working.

I then get the respawn message, and cant figure out why im not moving, so I die again. Its not until I put my headphones on do I hear the whooshing sound of falling.

I like it when you open your chute when you spawn and the guy above you lands on it and dies and punishes you. Happened to me yesterday, I spent the entire round dropping flashbangs by his head out of animosity. I'm so petty.
