Kill wih Flashbang, Grappling Hook, Zip Line ???

Hello to all,
I noticed that in BF2S killing stats are added for:
Flashbang, Grappling Hook, Zip Line...
Do you think it's possible to get a kill with these devices ?

I have killed myself with the grapple a number of times - tried to throw it in too small of a room trying to get the vet badge....but I have not killed anyone with it...not for the lack of trying mind you.

I have not been able to get any kills with the zip either - and that seems to be impossible to do as well. People on here have tried, I have tried. Anytime you fire at someone, they just get bumped out of the way, or the line does. Does not look possible....which is a damn shame.

See a guy sniping on a roof - shoot the zip line into his back and zip down onto his speared corpse - heh - would be cool.

As for the flashbangs - pretty much luck on getting the kill with hitting them in the head...same idea as getting a kill with the smoke grenade - but yes that can happen, and does easier than the others.

lol i tried to kill a guy on the roof with the zipline i shot it at his head i thought he was dead so i zipped across and he was waiting for me with a PKM lol..so i guess zipline does not work..

i dont think you can kill someone with there devices, but they should make it where you should be able to, cause in real life if someone shot a zip line at you it wont just pass through your body, it will actually kill you.

They should definetly make the devices able to kill people to make it more realistic.

maybe, if you withdraw the Grappling Hook or the Zip Line while an enemy is using it and he falls to die, it's like a kill... If somebody could try that on a local lan...

I don't think those stats are correct. For me I have:

Flashbang - 00:31:59 : 0 : 0 : 0.00
Grappling Hook - 00:00:00 : 0 : 0 : 0.00
Zip Line - 00:04:34 : 0 : 6 : 0.00

Now, as far as I know I've never been killed on the zipline or by the zipline, yes it reports 6 deaths.

I have however been killed a few times while using the grappling hook, but it reports 0 deaths. Not sure if it has been 6 times and the two stats are mixed up or they're just completely inaccurate.

NO, it's the number of times you have been killed holding the zipline. If your on it, it just counts as a death without being recorded while holding a weapon.

Do they even have a official site where thay tell you how many times you have used the, Zip line, Flash bangs, grappling hooks, Tear gas.

try to get on a roof while assault, and throw flashbangs at people, if you hit them with it, litterately hit them, you will get a kill, allso works with regular nades...

You can allso kill people with the parachute, if you can hit, or if a jet/chopper flies into you..

haha, I'd love to disembowel someone with the grappling hook.

Then lop off their head with the zip line for good measure. That would rock.

I have been to that site but all of my grappling hooks, ETC all say that i have used it 0 times.

Hmmm... my friend has tried to kill someone with zipline before but it just went straight through the guy and didn't kill him, he even tried it on his team mate. However, I don't see how you can kill someone with a flash bang though.

Obviously, there are several ways you can kill someone with a flashbang.

The first is called "asphyxiation" - put the flashbang down the targets throat and he will suffocate.

The second is "poking to death" - Remove the pin and throw at enemy, while he is blinded get in there and tie him down and poke him with the pin until he dies.

The third is the "Throw it in their face" method. Much like the Smoke Grenade, the sheer force of throwing a Flashbang into the targets face should be enough to kill them/knock them into a cleverly placed punji pit

site does not have the info you are looking for - NONE OF THEM DO

just keep your own count is all i can tell you

that is how i got mine - lol
