I have all my basic badges and some of the veteran badges, and all i need is about 10,000 points to get promoted to Sergeant major or Master Gunnery Sergeant. Would I still be able to be promoted to Sergeant Major if I have some Verteran Badges, or would i be promoted to master gunnnery sergeant.

You'll be fine.
It's only those people who got their VETERAN badge BEFORE their basic badge that got screwed.
For those people, the basic badge does not show up in their stats at all and therefore they cannot 'qualify'.

cool thanks, i didnt get the oppertunity to get First Sergeant so this time i am going to get Sergeant Major. Even though Sergeant Major and Master Gunnery Sergeant are the game rank, Sergeant Major looks better. Its because of the Star.Comment
