I dont have SF yet and before I buy it I need someone to answer something for me please.

Rank has never worked for me in BF2 presumably because of the university firewall so I've never been able to unlock new kit. Question is are all the new things in SF ie Flashbangs, gas, hook, zipline, googles, gas mask etc all unlocks? Cause if they are then I'm not buying it because I assume SF will have the same rank issues as normal BF2.

nope. you get all that great stuff and more right off the bat!

but that still sux you cant unlock. ever log on from another computer? find someone who is not behind the firewall.. go to 'retrive account' and then see if it works. if so, its the firewall.. if not.. there may be other issues.

To be honest it doesnt matter. Ive emailed EA and tried everything I can think of to fix the rank problem. Im assuming its the firewall but I dont know for definate but whatever the cause I've given up on fixing it.

Thanks for the information anyway. Since its all available from the start I'll probably buy it this afternoon then.

Like was mentioned above - the flashbangs, good weaps, etc are all the default kits in SF.

Even more beneficial for you since you cant get standard unlocks.

Sucks about that for you.

There are benefits.

For example I can just shoot anyone who annoys me because it doesnt matter if I get tk's as I have no rank.:laugh:
