The M95 isn't that bad, but the sniper rifles arn't proper sniper rifles, don't even bother trying a shoot from much more tahn 200 meters, because your garented not the hit another one and you won't get a head shot.
From about 100-200 meters it is pretty good however with the M95 you have to keep on the move because after one shot it is like you have just set off an air horn above your head.

M95 would have been a worth while upgrade if it was as accurate as the damn M24, both are 1 MOA rifles so why the m95 is only as accurate as the SVD and chinese rifle I have no idea.

It's worth noting that it's armour penatration value counts against personal body armor as well as vehicle glass and fences.

I've got a buddy who's a damn fine sniper (I, personally SUCK at it) and I've seen him kill people through fences on Kark, take out Blackhawks on Mash, and he's got a heck of a kill record against transport drivers.

Thats true about the armor penetration of the M95. That is the only reason to use it in BF2/SF. I get more kills with M24, though when I see the helo piolet starting up his chopper I think: damn wish it was an M95.

I don't know about you but I love the M95. The M95 is for power not pressision sniping, pressision sniping is for the M24 cause of it's crosshair design. SVD is for medium range sniping, perfect for Karkand, horrible on maps like Wake. The best way to take out a target with an M95 is to shoot em in the chest and quickly switch to the pistol without moving, right click then left click...1 shot will take em down cause of how low there health is from the M95. The best experience I had with an M95 was on Wake when I was a sniper going against a Cobra, cobra was trying to take the flag alone but they realized I was underneth them countering the capture. They evetually found me and attempted to dispose of me, my natural reaction was to run and hide trying to avoid they're onslaught. I then found myself out in the open and I didn't hear them so I assumed they left the area or crashed. Out of nowhere they appear right in front of me, hovering and not shooting at me signifying that I have been a real pain for them and they gave me a chance for me to say my prayers before they were going to own me. The moment seemed like a dramatic sequence of a game of "chicken", me standing out in the open with an M95 while a cobra hovers in front of me ready to fire. Big mistake to hover right in front of me, I gave the pilot a headshot right before the gunner fired. The chopper spun out of control and at the same time the gunner was firing the chain gun towards my direction trying to take me down with them, not bothering to hit the F1 key and try to regain control. BOOM! The cobra exploded in the valley below and was the best sight to see. So the M95 is a weapon where you can have a lot of good experiences with.

The bullet of the M95 has a tendency to go down and to the left. So if you aim up and to the right, you get your target, every single time.
