Playing as a medic? Nothing is more helpful than being revived while enemy Armor is in the immediate vicinity. It's fantastic and fun because I love looking at the spawn screen. It's also great because I like the fun patterns repetitive text make on the screen like this:

You were killed by [1337]tAnkWhore
You were killed by [1337]tAnkWhore
You were killed by [1337]tAnkWhore

Also great is that soon I'll have a new worst enemy, and I always love seeing new things. It makes my stat screen so much more interesting! Of course the guy driving the tank isn't going to kill you, because you're providing him with more kills, so don't be afraid! Just run out there and wave your paddles about and he'll know you're only trying to help him out. You'll get revive points! Over and over again! You're helping me out too! You're making my day a blast! Next time you see me die by a tank, do come rescue me. Please, pretty please, revive me.

Man I hate that crap. Why do some medics insist on reviving you BEFORE they secure the immediate area? In the case of armor, I'm ususally wanting to respawn as anti-tank or SpecOps to deal with the problem.

Hell, I've had medics revive me while the bad guy was shooting at them.

Kill first, then revive!

Medic whores dont care, they just want the point. Trust me Ive done it a few times :p . But overall only newb medics run into danger to revive since they get more points by not risking thier lifes.

Couple of reasons -

1 - medic wants the pts.
2 - medic does not want the ticket loss for the team - if you are revived, there is no ticket loss. even if the tank gets you 3 times, that is 3 less tickets we lose.
3 - medic could care less that you have another favored enemy on your list.

You are absolutely correct on the armor point. People who do that are just pt whores. Also, as some one who hasn't played alot of medic, I find it alot harder to clear the area in SF because the grappling hooks and zip lines make it harder to spot an enemy. They could be pretty much anywhere. And don't forget the dark maps where someone can just lie there and nail you over and over and never be spotted.

Keep the spawn screen open (Kit/spawn location) screen. Not the countdown screen after you are killed and medics can not revive you.

I do this if killed by a tank, only to be revived and killed again to keep it from happening a 3rd time.

Cool, I didn't know that either.

I have had this problem quite a bit but have to confess having done it a couple of times myself. Medic gets 2 points, tanker gets 2 points, you sit there annoyed. Everybody wins but you lol.

I can see where both sides are coming from. Kill the medic before he revives IMO. That way you get the kill and aren't ****ing any body off.

Damn good to know. I get so frustrated when I have tried to blow myself up to switch kits, and I keep getting revived...even when I tell them to let me die. I kill myself by jumping on a nade or falling off a cliff, etc - rather than suicide (even though by terminology same thing) - there is no pt loss that way.

If you kill yourself with your own grenade, there is a -2 point loss. Also you can pick a dead person's kit up by standing next to it and hitting G, no need to kill yourself for that. There are always plenty of dead people everywhere..

Yeah most of the time the kit I want is not right there, and if it is - it is the fricken noob weap instead of the unlock. Plus, I am switching kits to spawn on my SL to help out with the kit he needs.

You should get ready to run when the medic is coming for you. As soon as you are revived hit the space bar a few times and RUN for cover. Far too many times i put myself at risk to save a wounded teammate only for them to stay laying on the floor for the next few seconds and get shot again.

Sometimes its not possible to fully secure the area before reviving someone and i'm counting on the person i just revived to jump up and start shooting (or at least act as a diversion) while i reload.

Thats always the plan whem i'm medic but say i have just killed 2 guys and 1 is still left shooting at me and i need to reload then I'll revive you so that he now has 2 targets to shoot at. Even if he takes me out or kills you again 1 of us should be left to finish him off and revive the dead teammate. Thats 3 lost tickets for them and none of ours gone :)

I do this many times, if I shoot a guy and im out of ammo, ill go save you so you can shoot the guy while im reloading. I've had to revive a guy 6 times before he killed the enemy but thats 1 ticket saved for our side and 1 less for the enemy :)
