ive really enjoyed bf2 and i really want to get SF especially for the new weapons and maps? But is now a good time to get it? ive heard there alot of bugs, lag, and longer loading times. Ive never had a problem with lag on bf2 or with loading times but some people who didnt have it in bf2 say they have it in SF now. Is is still playable/ fun to play?

Re: Should I get SF?
Well,i have it and yea my computer isnt too good so it takes LONG to load a lvl on SF but i think its worth it.But yea it does have the really bad laggs on it but im usually sniper so i dont have too many problems so if your a sniper i suggest yes get it but if not and u like to run into fire fights i would say no..but all up to u if you wanna fight the lagg..:) -
Re: Should I get SF?
YES!! At first I had SOME crashing but it seemed to go away (IDK how). I really dident like Special Forces at first but it really grows on you. I wont go back to regular SF. Its more infantry fighting than anything. The new weapons are OK but I am still a fan of the old M16 on BF2. Most of the maps are good there are only 1 or 2 I dont go for but the night maps are very nice. Its worth the money and a great addition.Comment

Re: Should I get SF?
The first 2 days I hated SF with a passion, but it does grow on you. As you learn to use the new features you and maps you like it more and more and can appreciate what it offers ( bugs not included) . I Love it now ! I usually play the Spec Ops kit the most, so the different game style and different map choice in SF appeals.Comment

Re: Should I get SF?
i like BF2 so i bought SF. my new machine has no problem dealing with BF2. so it also treats SF well. Hope you'll feel the same.
My little tip for you. After buying SF, unlcok F2000+flashbang. go flash your enemy in karkand, then knife him
watch the message and he might get very ****ed.

Re: Should I get SF?
If you liked BF2 but are getting bored with the same maps all the time I suggest yes, get SF. I don't think it's much different from BF2 except more infantry oriented but the new maps are fun. I found SF a little more taxing on my rig than BF2 but optimizing the PC and playing with graphics settings did the job.Comment

Re: Should I get SF?
Yeah you should definately get it. IMO beats Bf2 hands down, better maps and more infantry/squad based action.
I don't have mind blowing machine but everything works 99% of the time totally fine. 2 gigs of ram seems to be quite essential though. Everything started to go smoothly and loading times cut to half after I got that 2 gigs. :)Comment

Re: Should I get SF?
Haha I don't have it yet (getting for Christmas, or X-mas for you who hate Jesus
) But all I've heard about SF so far is " It's a ****** ripp off!!! EA is the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of running in to! They're just trying to make money off of us! SF sucks!!!" So it's very nice to see some positive feed-back!:)
