There are already some images that came with BF2 that go past 2nd Lt up through a 5 star general, so I wouldn't be surprised if they use those in the next expansion or the next patch sometime in 2007.

That is the console version of Battlefield you have looked at.

Officer ranks, yes. But they shouldn't be easy to obtain since its mainly the soldiers doing the dirty work.

I think only people skillful enough and with certain specs like good win ratios,kd can be allowed to become officer but they need to complete a series of tasks first or somethin.

ye, I think there should be a change of uniform and a modified score system.

So you get more points for killing higher ranks.

A change in uniform sounds awesome.

If you ask me the ranks take too long to get. 2nd Lt. should start more around 50k points. 5 star general 500k+

I think the ranks should take much longer to get. As it is now there aren't enough of the low ranks almost everyone is a sergeant or higher. I don't think the unlocks should take any longer to get just the ranks themselves.

Back to the topic I would like to see move officer ranks and they should get to unlock an improved pistol.
