help error......new 1 too me

hi went st start bf2 and all i got was error-mods/bf2/shaders/staticmesh fx not found sync your shaders folder,local rendering prom/gp please help very sad .......and confused

Just curious? Are you from aston , Pa. Seen Aston in your name.

Try deleting your shaders/cache by doing the following:

browse to:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Username>\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

And deleting everything you see there.

Restart BF2 and load a map.

Also, what video card and drivers are you using?

I had the same problem on my brother's omputer when installing it so a friend could play. I didn't try the fix stated above, but if that doesn't work what I did was go and unzip all the files in Shaders_client.zip from EA Games\Mods\Bf2 into the directory that was having the problem (EA Games\Mods\Bf2\Shaders). And that solved the problem.
