How to add BOTS on a lan game

Hey everyone,

Me and my roommate are on a network and we want to play BF2 with just me and him and some bots. How do i do it? Or can it even be done. The way i created the server was just by cllicking on "Create local" and i didnt see a way to add bots

if you play a single player game.....he can then join (I believe....I have never tried it)

yeah you can, you just connect via IP address.

well, one person is playing singleplayer, and the other person connects to his PC over his IP, sry for not stateing that before

Ok, so now there is a new issue i have been having, well me and my room mate. Almost every single time we start BF2 it freezes at the main menu. After you login or whatever. There is a window that says "A message from EA" and it freezes and i either have to hit the reset button or Ctrl alt del sometimes works. any ideas? ? The game used to work perfect before ANY patches were released or anything.

hmm, sadly i havent played since the patch was released so im stumped. id suggest re-installing but then youd have to patch everything back up and that sucks.

yeah connecting to the ip works I do it all the time

There are sooooo many people having the same issues, or close, as me. Im getting really sick of god damn ATI and this damn video card of mine. Why cant BF2 just WORK!!!! IS IT THAT HARD!! ALL I WANT IS A WORKING 60 DOLLAR GAME WITH NO ISSUES
