yes! a month ago i loss my 61,000pts account because when went to try to log-in, it said: invalind nick name... and theres nothing written in the nickname space.
the 1st time it happened i just said: what a great way to stop plating BF2 for a while? huh? give it a break? why not?
i know what you guys are thinking: why do you just try to find a way to resolve this problem? contact EA? (so you can give me your accout for example:evil: )
blablabla. what's you guys think?
is loosing your 60,000 points accout would just make you destroy you screen and put to blood your hands and face on your keyboard? or just react smooth and take a nice brake?

Accounts are not randomly deleted.

Try and use the 'Retrieve Account' option, as maybe your local files are incorrectly reading your accounts.

If that doesn't work, your password was probably insecure. Someone else managed to get it (you either gave it away, were keylogged/trojaned, or it was easy to guess), and just decided to screw with you.

yeah as with nearly all online multiplayer games that feature personal accounts that can accumulate points to offer you some kind of bonus, there are ppl out there who r either not good enough to get enough points for these bonuses or are simply 2 lazy to take the time required... man of these then try 2 get an account with enough points, often through illegal means, e.g. keyloggin or buying an account on ebay

so my tip for you and those who want 2 prevent your valuable accounts from being stolen: keep your PCs and pawwords safe

bwaaa. no it just says the nick is invalid. so, logicaly, no one has got my password. same for spyware or trojan or viruses... i got 3anti-viruses running on my pc so i sont think i have these kind of viruses. (get 5 of them every day).
anyway, i don't mind about this account... just maked another one called x4|pilote<tardif instead of the old xds nick. it has now 3unlocks and only use it for TWL, CAL, air challenges, for video making, scrim, friendly clan match :p .

exactly... playing on ranked server is just like drug( although i never tried it) and stopping use it just feels really great and like your just being free from jail.
i consider it my christmas gift

nah i used 2 play Runescape (ever heard of it) a whole lot and then one time i stopped cos i went on holiday. i never played again, feels weird but pretty good....

Well, the account is still here. If you click on your stats icon in your TotalBF2 profile, it shows you have 62118. Maybe you just entered the wrong password.

and tardif yea who cares u lost ur account
ive played with u on servers before and ur good enough to get it back if u care at all that much

the frustrated are most likely those who want that account to be "the best"

you got a point...losing that many points would just make me quit bf2 ranked servers...if i did lose that much, i would just realize how much time im wasting, but m16 still rox if ur conecerned about ur unlocks

I lost my 10k account a few months ago when I deleted a profile on fileplanet.com... turns out that was the same as my BF2 profile (who knew?!?). I spent days talking with EA and Gamespy to no success. So I started over.
