Expert badges - methods and maps - how did you do it?

I am trying to get a couple of my expert badges on SF, and I have not found a good way of doing it yet. Just when I think I get on a good killing roll...the friggen map ends.

So I am looking for efficiency - what is the best way - the best bang for the buck that you have found?

I am not looking for speculation, because I know how I should get them, but those ways are not proving to work. I got them in vBF2 - so I can achieve 44 kills in a round - this is not an issue.

Special forces is a new animal with the smaller, faster maps ... at least they seem that way. The rounds seem to go a hell of a lot quicker.

So what do you use to get your kills? And have you found some maps are more condusive to getting experts than others?

I decided to start trying for expert badges just last night when I realized the requirements. I got my expert assault on Warlord. I got the majority of my kills on foot. Use vehicles to get to the action quicker...squad hop if u have to. Take every advantage you can get. Pay attention to UAVs and know the battlefield to determine where the enemies are most concentrated. More enemies = more kills. I had the luxury of playing with a friend who's an awesome medic so we rarely died. If I died he revived me and if he died I killed the person who killed him, switched kits and revivied him then we'd use the dead guys kit to switch back. Teamwork still rules this game. Use it and things are much easier.

avoid getting killed, use hmg on the jeeps infront a flag were everyone spawns.

well, personally I haven't bothered with the badges yet, mainly b/c I got many in vBF2. The easiest way to get kills though, is be an apache pilot on ghost town.(that is, if your a good pilot which im not :P )

my method for a ton of kills: be commander on the 16 man Warlord map, capture the spawn on the third floor, keep setting the UAV to the center of all three flags, anticipate the attacks, move your ass like crazy, and remember to reload often. i come out on that map with 40 kills easy, 50-60 if i push myself. i may not get many points because kills while commander don't count but i prefer owning the server than getting points.

Have not tried commanding on smaller maps - have to give that a try. I spent a few rounds last night trying to get them while commanding, and even running around for a few personal kills. I don't think I ever came close. For a while I was keeping tracks on paper of how many arty kills I got - but man is that a pain.

Iron Gator as Mec SF, if your team take the flags inside the essex, leaving just the viewing deck and flight deck for the seals, then its christmas time up top.

Me and a clanmate both got Expert medic specialists and crew and helo ribbons in the same round, I flew and he gunned, then we landed and switched over, i got 46 kills, he got 53.

I used the medic kit and its awesome pistol getting my expert pistol badge. Was hard on Wake especially when I was 1 kill off and the USA took all the points. So I went to karkand with about 55/64 players.

I just used nothing but the pistol and the health bags. If your on a good day for BF2 you just hit everything in the head it's actually not that hard, especially if the other team isn't bleeding.

was more interested in the expert kit badges - which are 44 kills in a round - but thanks for the input on expert pistol. in regards to that, I have found that the spec ops and sniper pistols are good as well since they are silent, you find when you sneak up on an enemy they are less likely to know where you are pecking away at them from, especially since you have to hit them multiple times - even in the head.

now, back to our regularly scheduled post....heh

I got mine by going apesh*t in a helicopter. I got my expert medic on surge by using the Mi-28 hind and got my expert engineer on Ghost town with the apache. I was flying both times.

Lately I have found that if I am running to the helo, and someone else jumps in, they almost always F2 to be gunner, but I would say helo gunner is the easiest way.
