I have noticed that at certain times of the week my ping is unusually high and I keep getting kicked from servers, is there anything I can do to lower my pings?

When you notice you are having your ping problems, open up a cmd prompt and do a "tracert www.google.com" This will trace your routing to google and give you an avg ping response time to each hop. This can help you determine if it's your box, your isp, or the game itself. I recently had a bout with my ISP over ridculously high pings during prime time hours, and using the tracert comand, I could tell them exactly where on the network (4th hop in that case) I was seeing a latency spike.Comment
