Found a Fix for the PC Crash for NVidia Users.

Well I had tried 6 different drivers trying to figure out why I would get system lock ups/hangs etc and have to completely reboot the PC. Well I just got the 81.89 NVidia drivers and played all day with no lock up. I suggest hitting up guru3d and giving them a shot. Hope this helps you all out.

Well for people crashing like I mentioned, yeah they may be. It could have been a simple update Nvidia did in the newer driver, which is what I tend to think it was because 6 other previous drivers all still crashed me.

I have 5600 and it gives me blackouts and crashes ever since I got 81.95, maybe i should go back to 81.94...

Stock 81.95 drivers gave me problems but the XtremeG 81.95v2 drivers are working fine for me and have been for everyday for the last 3 weeks.

Well.. OP's suggestion doesent fix it... Still got the prob.. I guess this is what one can expect from this game.. Feeling an urge to take a dump on the cover and mail it to EA... -.-

I've also been using the XG 81.95s. They work well.

Plus..they finally fixed the texture error in Guild Wars

Well.... now that gulf of oman finally works for me (driver glitches), but from time to time, it still crash me out of the game. At least it better than the stupid 81.95 that nvidia released... maybe nvidia intentionally try to **** us off and think our video card is broken so they could suck money out of our pockets and get a 7800gtx 512 XG 81.95 is the way to go...

did not fix my ctd on start up with the 1.12 patch

oh well, hope that EA fix this pdq, I would like to play SF over Xmas.
