How does BF2 update your stats?

I was playing some multiplayer and was awarded a verteran combat medal (or something like that...). I finish the game, check out my score (which was also first for a gold medal) and then hit escape as the next map is loading. I check my stats and I don't see the new gold star or my new medal?

I even exited and reloaded the game and still didn't see it. Does it sometimes take a while, or did I nullify my score somehow?

BF2 multi is an online game, and anything associated with it being online is subject to how fast your connection is and how many people are playing online at the same time. It might take a while, but if you check back pretty soon, I'm sure it'll be there

yep sometimes it does take awhile. i had to wait a whole day for one of mine to update

Sometime its really fast, sometimes 2 hours, sometimes even a day. I think it depends on how often the server you are playing on up loads the info the the main ea server.

Stats are collected after each round of BF2. The gold medal will probably appear after you restart the game, login again or just wait a while. Sometimes (Like now) the servers are going through some maintanence and stats take longer to update. However, you will never see your gold medal after the round is finished straight away. It just varies.

yea soemtimes i just see my new medals and such right after i disconnect after the round is ended, and some other times, it can take a while
