Ranks and unlocks on LAN server?

I've searched as far as I can for this, but cannot seem to find any results regarding it, so please bear with me...


Is it possible to show your rank and get your certified unlocks on a LAN server? I'm not talking about accumalating more points like you would on an official ranked server, just to retrieve your accounts details and stats (ranks+unlocks) and let it show ingame.


Is this possible? It's kinda crappy to see that puny rank again, and having everybody have access to all the unlocks via mods is just as bad.

Have the server be able to connect to the internet?

Internet and ICS will be available for the LAN server and the clients.


Just FYI, the othe day I logged in normally as I would for internet play, but when I hosted and joined my own LAN game, the ranks were all reset and no unlocks :cry:

use the dedicated server...and set it up on lan, then just tick the unlocks box.

im not sure about ranks but unlocks deffinatly work, ranks should work though

I believe u need teh net to do this because ranks is under the EA servers so if its just lan I believe u can't do it

I know, the LAN server will have internet access and will funtion as the ICS/gateway/proxy pc to the internet for all the LAN users.

They will still be able to log on the internet like at their homes, the only difference is that the server is on the LAN.
The server will also NOT accumalate stats, only retrieve them from EA.

That's what I'm hoping is possible.
