    Unlocks, going back to original.

Some people say that the unlocks are just plain better weapons than the stock weapons. While it has been stated many many MANY times that they just act differently, some of them really are just the same, only better. But, sometimes i go back to original.

    Special Forces:
Since i unlocked my G36C i have NEVER used the AKS-74U or the M4. I often switch between the G36C and the SCAR-L though.

    Sniper:
I unlocked the M95 as my second unlock, wasn't very happy about it since the scope sight is very thick and sometimes long range shots are just plain random along with the horrible bullet drop.
But, i found the ability to shoot through glass very useful, like for example, camping the carrier, some guy gets in a F35 and is very happy because he got it. But then he gets shot out and someone else gets it and another and another until i have to reload. You can imagine how ****ed they are. And if you are angry you are always a tad worse player than if you are not.
Anyway, i never go back to the M24, the ability to shoot through glass is just something i can't miss. But i often use the Type 88 and the SVD, they are underrated, you can actually fire 2 shots before recoil and kill him.

Assault: Here it is, the class that i always switch between, i use the G3 when I'm expecting close range fighting while i prefer the AK's and M16 or even the F2000 when im doing long range. I am going through all of them, swapping and switching, they are all different with different purpose.

Support: Before SF, i only had the PKM, that made me switch between the stock guns because they have a shorter "pull-out" time aswell as faster fire-rate. But since i got the MG36 i have never even thought about using the stock guns. PKM has firepower and accuracy while the MG36 has firerate and "pull-out" quicker.

Engineer: Since i got my jackhammer, i never even considered using the S12K again, the jackhammer works the same, while carrying more firepower and firerate. But i often use the pump-guns, because they don't use all the ammo as quickly and they have more firepower per shot. Now, the MP-7 is just plain AWESOME, being able to fight long range as engineer is truly useful.

Medic: I never got the medic unlocks, but from pick up experience i tell you, the L85A1 is not as good as it is. It has a scope sure, but it is more inaccurate than the others. I would use it above the M16, just for the full auto and scope, but the AK's still are better. The G36K, I never got the chance to try, but i heard that it is better than the rest.

Anti-Tank: I almost never use the SMG's now, since i got the DAO-12. But still, the SMG's are very good for ranges just beyond the DAO-12's range. They can be useful, but the lack good accuracy and firepower.

This post could prove very useful or very un-useful you judge.

Re: Unlocks, going back to original.

Spec Ops - only used Scar-L in SF, but liked the scope. To me, It didnt seem any different from the M4 or AK-74. I guess its what your used to, I use the G36C...great gun, but very weak in close quarters against assualt rifles (other than L85...man that thing stinks up close), but man the g36C thing does the trick at med., long distance. (single shot is better than most sniper rifles due to rate of fire and little recoil)

Sniper - After unlocking the M95, I have managed to snipe less than 10 pilots...an ONLY when they were stationary, not airborne. I get many more one shot kills with the M24, which seems FAR more accurate against infantry...which is the snipers purpose. The Type 88 and the SVD IMHO are much better if you are a patient sniper, not having to re-scope after each shot is what makes these rifles better. M95 is a garbage unlock unless you are trying to snipe pilots (though I have killed a few BH full of infantry, since an M95 shot take 2 bars away from a helos armor, just need someone to damage it first.)

Assault - not a class I use much, but the new F2000 is a great unlock for this class , since it includes the skilless GL AND it has a SCOPE for %&$* sakes, but the recoil is a killer at med distance.! One shot kills with this gun happen wayyyy too often, I have put this gun in single shot mode with the scope and have done better with it than a sniper rifle! Hey if they get close noob em with the GL!, that takes no skill. Wow, EA must like the assault class. Most noobs will choose this class. I still think they should put an arming distance on the GL...

Support - PKM has been a favorite of mine for a while, the new MG36 is great though, but I feel the PKM has more stopping power in close ( I have even dropped a few helos that were damaged). If you plan to use the support weapon for range, the PKM is not for you....but you can get the odd 'sniper' shot with it. In close, PKM is what you need, I have won 60-70% of the time with the PKM, prone or not, ...aim high due to the slow rate of fire. I have little experience with the MG36, but it seems alot like the M249Saw, but with a bit more accuracy.

Engineer - Jackhammer - good and bad, man I can be 5 feet away, unload ALL 7 rounds, and STILL be killed... The best Engie weapon is the MEC SK12(or something) I am not that bad of a player, but I think this shottie is not great...but then again, when it hits, it only takes 1...maybe 2 shots. Sometimes I engage the foe from too far...
Now the new MP7. Not bad at all, a step up from the shotties at a distance. You can actually kill an injured soldier from a distance now lol. Its basically an auto pistol, but since its only got 20 rounds...the shottie is better if your up close against more than 1 person. Depends on your style.

Medic - L85...good...and VERY bad. At long ranges, it can be deadly with single shot mode, up close you will lose against almost every weapon (even the mp5 at rare times) due to horrible inaccuracy at close range. When I use this weapon. I usually keep it at single shot mode, even at close range (sometimes I get lucky and get that headshot)

The G36E - only used it in th SF expansion, but as an experienced medic...I wish I had unlocked this beast. A scope like the G36C with the accuracy to boot. The only drawback is a 3 burst shot like the M16, but 2 bursts get it done...the best new unlock going....(and I didnt take it due to blind loyalty and 100+hrs to the L85)

AT - SMG...all of them are garbage, unless in the hands of a hacker. The DAO is a great unlock in the game. If you need range, the AT weapon is guidable and can out 'snipe' snipers! Problem is the vulnerability when 'guiding' the missile! The DAO is deadly in close quaters...rarely beaten.

Spec Ops - G36C is soooo much better. I don't feel any recoil using the G63C but I do with the SCAR-L
            Sniper - M24 totally owns the M95
Assault - F2000 totally kicks ass
Medic - don't be this kit what so ever
            Support - PKM rocks

I NEVER use unlocks? Why? Simple.
When you play matches against other clans, you'll never be able to use the unlocks. Pubbing is practice for the real deal. Don't waste time trying to learn a new weapon, stick with the stocks.

                    True, true.

It's not nice pwning with the DAO-12 then having to go back to using an SMG in a clan game
