    changing dxlevel

    if i add "-dxlevel 80" or even "-dxlevel 70" to the end of the target line in the properties of the shortcut, does that do anything?..im looking to improve my fps

    or..is there anotehr way to make it run in directx 8

        i did try it (adding -dxlevel 70) , but i didnt notice any difference, so does anyone kno if it really works

          so it turns out that having -dxlevel 80 yields the best results and i dont think having it set to 90 does anything

                Ive heard theres a hidden map in BF2, try +map de_dust on the command line
