Before I run BF2 I had open a webpage so I could do alt+tab, then Ctr+Alt+Del to get the task manager open, go to processes and find BF2 rigth click on it and choose Set Priority to low, when I came back to BF2 I was in. Try it

i personally just think it was chance... the server has gone down before, it went down for most of the day i would just wait it out, i got a bunch of other games other than BF2 to play... i wonder what they can be doing though, i mean when you are able to log back on you will see like no differences in anything...

It works but you need to be very patient. It usually takes about 10 minutes and the game will be unresponsive during this time (if you alt-tab, or alt-ctrl-delete out of the game)
Just let it sit there for a while and go have a cup of tea :)

Lucky you! I dunno wtf happened. I joined a 40 something Karkand server 64map. I was on MEC and had no unlocks off the bat (in the beginning). Then we went to round 2 I was USMC and had my unlocks. I love my G36E so much that umm..nvm. Bet its a bug or some sh!t. Just that I'd mention it.

I tried exactly what Molinaalexis suggested and it worked for me !
I then set it back to normal priority to play.

HA HA HA.... i have been playing since 12 PM since after i made that thread.. i got really ****ed off, i started it, and i watched a tv show (about 30 min.) and came back and it was on. i think it takes like 10-15 min to connect.
