Ya same problem here. Good thing i went to google and found this site and i just signed up aswell. I was gonna re/re the game before i came here. I went to EA site and nothing there about server down.

Yeah, EA has other crap to worry about, they probably don't even know there's a problem yet.

This is occurring for me as well. Called COMCAST and I am running 6MPS.

My login is failing as of 5:00 PM EST on Saturday - spent about 30 minutes trying to get in.

I noticed that it is hard to build a time frame of when this started happening so I am time stamping my connection failure.

Being an addict isn't a problem, running out of product when you are an addict is the problem.

I have just tried about 5+ times..and it isnt connecting. It just sits there. Is anyone else having this problem..?

yeah the account server has been screwed since this morning. and btw metallica, i saw u playing on wake island a while ago.

guys its a server problem for sure. Just be patient and everything will be ok. Servers have problems nothing runs perfect 100% of the time.

I too have been having problems, after a 10 minutes wait I get in but then it takes forever to get in game so I quit. I bet its working fine in no time.

lol yeah that's exactly what happened to me. i clicked on "connect" then i went to take a p1ss, then i went outside having a smoke, when i came back, it was still connecting.

hmm, so i'm in Miami, hurricane Wilma F*cks up my broadband for a month, got service restored couple of days ago, couldn't play since (having a life, work etc.), then my no life weekend starts... what do i get? an EA F*ck up. Now if you all excuse me, im gonna go hang myself. ok? bye.

I wont buy any EA games anumore! Why can't they just make a free bug game ?

why they dont take 5 mins to post a quick update on their website to explain this damn problem that has arrived 5 times before. I think they just solve the problem and they dont care if it happens again.

bf2 could be a awesome game, without these f***** bugs

I was out for 2 months from Katrina here in N.O., I can deal with a server outage occationally. But, after crushing myself all week at work I need some BF2 time in. THe "gods" of **** severing, red hot poker up the ass of weekend fun killing never cease to vex me. WHY GOD WHY? Must they allways ****up on the weekends. last saturday the cable line hotfix for Katrina damage fell apart so I lost cable all weekend now the Ea server is out.

A simple 20 second public anouncement from EA would almost prevent me from taking my ATV out and running over some enemy(my real life neighbors) for simulated glory.

You know why dogs lick their balls? Because there are No Ea reps around.

Goes back to cleaning myself.

Same here and it would do it on the day I do something to the machine like add more Memory. I was thinking for about 10 mins or so WTF why is my Fav BF2 not working.

Thankfully I knew this was the place to look before dragging the memory out.


As for the quote above, you know what I don’t understand is this game will be remembered as a good game but not one of the best probably why because there was a few bugs etc.

Now picture this and remember the game only came out what five months ago.

You take away most of the bugs by testing more and add day to night transition and even weather (ok a big ask I know) plus the content available in SF and you know what we would all say – This has to the best game ever! But we don’t we just say BF2 is good and Sf well that’s an add on most will do without. Shame another 6 months and you could have aced it in the games marker and reputation. It might not make more money but hey.
