Why cant I use the unlocks?

I just got special forces yesterday, and i got 3 unlocks after my 1st round, but I have no idea how to use the unlocks in the game. I know about the arrows in the kit selection screen, but it only has my old unlocks.

Also, I was just wondering if I can use my new unlocks (if I ever figure out how to get to them) or the new features like grappling hooks, ect, on the old maps.

Dude, do a Search in these forums. There have been 1000 threads like this. The short is, US Navy Seal/SAS are the only Factions in BF2:SF with the New Weapons(I think this is correct). You unlock them through BF2 Original, and yes you can use them all in BF2 Original. No grappling Hook or Zip line available in BF2 Original.

Go into BF2 (not SF) and if you keep going through the unlock selection you will find the new unlocks. You will only be able to use these unlocks in BF2 only. You can only select the new unlocks if you have unlocked the previous weapon, eg. If you have unlocked the G3 you can unlock the f2000.

^ shyte! I got 2 unlocks after playing 4 rounds SF...But I unlocked it in SF and not in vanilla??? Does this mean i won't get the new unlocked weapons in vanilla??? Fark! is there a way around this???!!! :x

Um, when u unlock special forces weapons, they can only be used in vanilla. To use, when in game, and selecting which class to use, press the unlock switch button TWICE, then u get ur unlocks.
