Same problem with squares on the screen

I have tried the things people told me to do like update my video card drivers, i did and take down anti aliasing. but the problem has also been in Half life 2 it happens, sometimes in World of Warcraft. And a lot in BF2. heres another screenshot of it.

Does it have to do with my video card or what? its really frustrating because every time it does it i have to restart my computer.

I would say it's either a heat issue, or your card is shot. Most likely your card is shot.

Hey,

I don't know if it helps but i recently replaced my 2 x 256MB RAM sticks with 2 new 512MB, since then i started getting some strange graphic glitches too (once every 2 or so days). I didn't think it would help but i upgraded the BIOS on my MS-6533 mobo from the old 1.1 to 1.4 and in over 3 weeks it's never come back. Without doubt it seems to have fixed it. Heres a screen shot of my problems.

Goto the manufacturers website and look for udated for your motherboard, then you download the latest BIOS and then use the flash utility provided with your board to update, do not proceed with this precedure unless you know what you are doing and/or have all the necessary documentation to do it.

crap, i think my card is shot, but it was a 245 dollar video card. Such ******** how you can get robbed like that. Make cards and people spend lots of money on them so they can get ****ed off. Lucky it was just my birthday
