What is up with the "Warlord" map?

Everytime I play the Warlord map the game runs incredibly laggy. All the other maps run smooth (well, I would like them to run even smoother), but the map in question seems to be hard on my computer.

    My specs:
    Athlon 3500+
    MSI K8N Neo2 motherboard
    2GB Corsair RAM
(Made by) ATI x800Pro AGP Videocard running Driver 8.172.0.0 with CCC 5.9
    Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm IDE harddisk
    Creativ Audigo 2ZS soundcard
    Samsung 710T LCD monitor
    D-link 624+ Wireless Router

Running WinXP professional SP1, configured the computer to Demilitarized Zone through router settings, no firewall, only popup blocker. Installed Windows on C:\ (out of 4 partitions) and both BF2 vanilla and SF on C:\Program Files\etc...etc...

Defragmented harddrive, changed the DefaultVideo.con file to read 1 instead of 0 on both Fullscreen and Refresh, deleted my cache, optimized shaders once more.

I'm running all settings on high exept the three on the bottom of the screen, which are medium, AAx4, "EAX off", sound on "medium" and "Hardware" and finally tried with "VOIP off". Running 1280x1024@60Hz.

Is the Warlord map in particular system-hogging? And most importantly...is my computer allready outdated?

Don't worry...I have the same problem, I'm sure it's just the game -- it's ****ed up

That doesn't mean it's not the game, does it?

Alot of people are experiencing problems with this map and BF2 (vanilla and sf) in general after the latest update. If you don't experience crap performance then you're lucky.
