try this lagg fix: go into the battlefield folder, c: programe files/eagames/bf2/mods/bf2/settings, ur looking 4 the file:videodefault.com(or just videodefault) open it with notepad and change the top line render full screen 0 to a 1, then the bottom line: render allow refresh rates 0 to 1 and click file and save!! repeat that for the xpack(expansion)did improve the lagging a bit 4 me????

If I'm not mistaken, it was this way before the latest Nvidia drivers, and putting it down to 0 actually helped.

Maybe I'm wrong though.
