I cant find anything for a release day on play.com or game where can I find a a place to preorder I know there is refrences to release dates for q1 2007 for england oh well looks awsoem also can't download 200mb video any where else I can download it from? There is no official date given yet for the 505 games regions release so there is now preorders up yet, you can order the German version tho which is out at the end of the month (we have a link on the left side of our site).

We also have a new download section up and have removed the need to register to download. check it out HERE

I just ordered the Czech version from here

Total came to about $89.00 CDN with worldwide shipping. I'll just change most of the text to English and I'll be laughing.

Also, why can't BIS just release the game online as well, so that us US players can get the game too, cause I really want this damn game and soon too.

No. The only relationship they have is that they both contain models of military equipment.

I personally have had no trouble with Starforce in the past. I don't mind, although it would be icing on the cake if Starforce wasn't present.

Czech to English fix.

With a few simple downloads, or some simple editing, you are able to translate the majority of the game to English.

Besides, I will also buy the Collector's Edition of ArmA when it's released in NA (if that ever happens).

The Czech version is released a while now
The Eastern European release is on the 30th of this month and apparently the language is easily changed to English so happy days
I'm still waiting for the demo - I have no doubt I would buy it but I'm worried my computer won't be able to handle it

It was relased a few days ago.. on the tenth if memory serves me.

Some countries (Germany, Russia, Switzerland) will be getting it at the end of this month. Other European countries (as well as Japan, and Australia/New Zealand) will have to wait for the 505 Games release, in Q1 07/

NA still doesn't have a publisher

Garabaldi got it all right. But the only reason I aint getting the Czech version is because of the Starforce. And by Q1/07 BIS will have a couple of patches out to fix the obvious bugs

Interesting. So will the German version have Starforce? If not, can anyone recommend a good German online retailer, possibly with English language section?

O rly? I'm going to be in Germany on the 17th of December, so I'm just gonna have to pick that bad boy up there . Hopefully by than I'll be able to find a German to English fix.

I don't understand why BIS just doesn't put the game up online so you can download it, or talk Valve/Steam Powered about getting the game distributed through them online (like a lot of games seem to be doing lately). I'd buy it in a heartbeat if they did that.
