    another ram question

i bought 2 sticks of 1gb ddr 400 (same brand). when I put them in together they run at 333mhz, but if I put one stick in, it runs at 400mhz. Whats this all about ?

what is single channel and dual channel about also ?

don't get this ehter, normaly one or two stick should run the same speed.

Do you have an AMD or intell system ?

and what is the speed of the FSB ? maybe you are looking at the wrong speeds.

about dual channel, this is your mobo that has to support this, two of the same ram modules are good for dual channel, normaly you should be able to enable this in the bios or it enables itself .

You do have to put the memory in the good slots for that, mostly this is slot 1 and 3 or slot 2 and 4
