Do not confuse G36K with G36E

    G36K: Full-auto / Burst but not unlockable for BF2

G36E: Burst / Semi-auto Tier two unlock for Medic

I thought they are the same but the unlockable G36E is not full auto:dead:
    i prefer AKs better.

Love the G36E. Played a lot of medic recently to get my rank, and the Enfield doesn't cut it. I had unlocked it because I thought its accurate in-game, but it isn't (ubar's numbers say its one of the worse guns accuracy-wise and I think their numbers are absolutely correct - I couldn't hit a barn side with it at 100 meters). I got good kills on short distance through, plus the heals and revives = good scores. But kill/death rate was 1:3 in those games.

When I unlocked SF's G36E I was shocked - no auto fire ?????? But once you get used to pressing the trigger twice or three times in rappid succession to fire off six or nine bullets with the right rhythm and count bullets, or use single fire for longer ranges, this gun is a beast. Its accurate and has high damage. Now I get the heals and the revives and a 1:1 kill rate and rank 1st or second most of the time :)

            Definetly an unlock recommendation.

p.s. my other special forces unlocks are the new MG and the F2000. I don't see what the big deal is about the F2000, I have better results with the M-16/203 combo. In burst on short range the F2000 seems to have a slight advantage, but usually I single fire, prone, at longer ranges and the M-16 seems much more accurate to me. I wish instead of unlocking the G-3 and F2000 I'd have unlocked the MP7 and the SCAR-L. Despite the fact that I think the SCAR isn't much of an upgrade since the G36C rocks so much.

The new MG (whatever its called) ... well, its not that much improvement over the regular BF2 MG unlock (again, whatever its called) me thinks. The three round burst is nice and I mostly use it at longer ranges but two to four rounds was my rhythm with any of the MGs anyway in full auto. I don't think its that much more accurate, maybe a bit, and surprisingly often I find myself use the M249 which doesn't seem all so bad especially in City maps at short to medium ranges.

            Cheers,
            Shadowborn
