Special Forces Installation Issue

Well I am also too experiencing the following problem.

I installed Special forces today and I previously had a Bf2 version 1.0.3 patch installed on it. I had not updated to 1.12 prior the installation. Anyway I installed special forces and I get a black screen. Battlefield acts like its about to load but then it closes down and goes to desktop.

I have not yet updated to 1.12 after the special forces installation, and I can't till Tuesday.

Will I have to update to 1.12 to play battlefield ? Can I play battlefield sf in single player at least ?

Now none of them work

Pc Specs:

3.06 ghz pen 4
1 gb ddr2 ram
Radeon x700 graphics
Sata 120 gb hardrive.

My username on bf2 = Shpoxenn and doesn't contain any weird letters nor a prefix. Please help guys. :p

I've read on a few forums if you reinstall the patch again after installing SF it will run.

Sorry, i've got it to work now, I installed the patch that came with SF again and now everything works. Just have to install 1.12 to get my unlocks and to play online ?

i beleive in order for servers to show up u have to install the 1.12 patch b/c before i installed it no servers could be found(but then again i could be wrong).
