    slow performance

hey fellas, there is something strange about my BF2 performance. when i first start a map,i get good frames(60-90) depending on the action at everything on high 4X anti-aliasing but as the game goes on, it gets slower and slower down to around 20-30 frames.
I got bfg 7800 gt OC, AMD 64 3500, 2gig ram,dfi lanparty mobo. can someone tell me what is going on?

Chicks dig it when you perform slowly.

Other than that, you might want to try posting in the correct forum. There's a help forum. You could even try searching first.

Dood, even if it is a heat problem, he might not have to buy any more hardware.

I would try a few things to rule out heat as the problem.

          1) Check the inside of your case for dust. If there is blow it out using compressed air.
          2) Make sure all your fans are spinning properly.
          3) Check your heatsink and PSU for excessive heat. They should be hot, but it shouldn't be hot enough to burn you, if it is, then replace.
          4) Get a house hold fan, clean out as much dust out of the fan as possible, and then try to have it blow directly onto your processor. If this fixes the problem, then it is a heat issue, if the problem still happens, then its not heat.

okay guy with problems do this..

Right Click your desktop, go to properties, then settings, then advanced.

then hit the Geforce 7800GT tab, then hit "temperature settings".

tell us what your idle temp is.

Oh wait I have 77.30 and 81.94 drivers. So should I just go ahead and download 77.77? Then should I delete 81.94 or 77.77 automatically overwrites 81.94

Uninstall current drivers via the add/remove software panel, reboot, install whatever drivers you want.

I still have the same problem bro. I run Fraps while playing the game and I notice the frames go up from 20s range to 80s range then back to 20s. Its a cycle that keeps on happening every 10-15 seconds not because of too much things going on at one time. I even went on a crane and just stood still for a while and noticed that it was still happening.
