BF2SF Annoying Alt/Tab Problem.

Ive been struggling to solve this problem so any help will be appreciated guru's.

Ive had this problem in both BF2 Vanilla and SF.
I use BF2CC as my remote server program, so i need to Alt/Tab a lot in game (no 2nd monitor).
The problem is that when i usually Alt/Tab it often sticks in game and doesnt minimize to deskop.
Ive tired most newer drivers, all installed properly using driver cleaner first (followed tutorial on this forum).

It usually minimzes ok at first, but it never lasts long, sometimes a reboot fixes it again for a short while.

Sometimes i adjust the nVidia profile for BF2 and again it may work for a short while but never for long.

The profile is set at A/Sx8 - A/Fx16 - Transparency antiliasing = supersampling.

Ive ran out of ideas and couldnt find no answers using the search function.

Can't offer much help, but in the vanilla BF2 manual(that nasty thing with your CD Key on it) I'm sure it says somewhere that EA DO NOT SUPPORT the Alt+Tab application switching feature of Windows.

That it odd, I have an ATI card and I have no problems Alt+Tab'ing out of the game.

Have you tried pressing "windows button + D" ?

I have an BFG 6800Gt when I used alt/tab it would lockup on me as well.
I stoped using alt/tab and started using alt/esc it has worked for me.

No problems alt-tabbing here. It seems as if you have more than enough memory to do this.

Do you have a lot of other applications running in the background?
