Help! Rank and Unlocks not showing... reset??

Okay, I looked and I didn't find any other thread concerning this so maybe I'm just stupid. But heres my problem.

I haven't played in like a day and a half and then I just logged on and in BFHQ it says I'm a sergeant, and shows my unlocks like normal but if I join a server it shows me as being a Private and it doesn't acknowledge that I unlocked any guns! Someone please help me; I didn't cheat or anything, so why is it doing this?

It happens from time to time if the server you are on has problems contacting the master server to get your info...just try another server to see what happens.
