2 Q's: Longbow and Stats

Hi,

I've not bought the game yet, might wait until xmas so someone else can buy it for me ;p, but I've been wondering about two things in the game that should be straight forward for anyone who's played it:

How does the Apache Longbow handle and what kind of firepower does it have?

As a gunnery sergent, it will be a while before I earn another unlock - does this mean I probably won't see any SF extra weapons for a while, or will I be given an extra unlock or two?

once you have played a round in SF, then you will automatically receive unlocks. i received 2 as sergeant

the apache handle quit good but not as good as the choppers in bf2 , strange thing to fly with, realy

not a HUGE fan of the apache/hind. my favorite is still the american heli in bf2. it is much more agile.

the hind/apache remind me of the mec attack helicoptor in bf2. very slow and sluggish. I do prefer the buffer gun on the mec heli though.

u will recive 1 extra unlock as sergeant, 2 unlock as staff sergeant and 3 for gunnery sergeant (you). its 2 unlocks per rank now

I have no problems with the new helis. The apache handles great IMHO, and the hind is not bad - especially for it's size.

the only thing that sucks about the new choppers, which effects the originals, it what they did to the tv mode. i like that the picture is clearer - but the wavey ******** is so much worse than just the static that was in earlier version. plus with the picture being cleaner, the crosshair is smaller, and is hard as hell to see in bf2vanilla when you have any kind of sky involved.

I love that Apache, it handles great.
The hind is really strange though, it pretty much 'floats' instead of flying.

The Apaches missiles (not the tv-guided) do a lot more damage than the ones of the BF2 helis, I think. They're great against infantry.

Not sure about the hind's missiles' power, but their spread is bigger, so it's more difficult to hit something.

And the TV-guided missiles in the Apache & Hind just suck....
They can only hit things that are pretty much right beneath them.
