    May Somebody Help please! :[

    hi, im not the very best when it comes to computer specs and all.
    i plan on getting sf soon and my current spec'd pc is;

    AMD ATHLON XP 2800+
    2.1 GHZ
    NVIDIA GeForce FX5200 128mb.
    512 DDR RAM

    i can currently run bf2 but it is laggy on low :cry:

    for christmas i am going to get another 512 Ram,
    do you think if i also purchased a 7800GTX
    that it would be a big boost to my graphics or is it too powerfull and wouldnt work?

    Thankyou

    You would need a new motherboard and processor to support the 7800GTX.

        Yeah, not sure your current computer could handle the power of the 7800GTX. Try aiming lower if you do not want to buy a new Mobo and CPU. Maybe a 6800 (GT or Ultra) or even, to save some $$$ get a 6600(GS, or GT).

        Otherwise, you would need to get practically a whole new rig. Which is fine if you have the money...

              It's not that it wouldn't handle the power, it's that it doesn't have a PCI-e slot.

              I'd reccomend a 6600gt or 6800.
