    In game browser tip...wildcard

If someone tells you they are in a server, and you type the server name they have given you at the top, and it doesn't find it, try using a wildcard. ( % )

    example...

If the server name is SAS... but in reality (-[[---SpecF SAS Clan server

typing SAS wont work, but typing %SAS will work every time.

In game browser is an user interface minefield and needs redesigned, but I was so pleased when I tried this and it worked.

Soz if it's been mentioned before, or I'm stating the obvious I discovered this eons ago and keep forgetting to bring it up, I'm sure some n00bs like me might find it useful.

              Great Tip! Thanks.

At the risk of asking a question that's been asked 1,000 times before, but because I don't know exactly what to put into the search engine to find the answer I'll ask the question again...

Does anyone know what the number in parentheses means after the server numbers showing how many people are in a game and how big the game is? For example, a 16 player server with 11 people will often look like this 11/16 (0) ... What is the (0)? Sometimes I see a different number in there besides 0, but most often it's a 0. What does that mean?

                Re: In game browser tip...wildcard

That (number) refers to how many reserved slots there are on the server.

Most servers have it set to (0) meaning anyone can join at any time as long as the server is not full.

Servers that have (2), (3), etc, have 2 or 3 slots reserved for people on a certain list of players that is built into the server. Most often clan servers have these reserved slots so that no matter how many players are in the server, their own clan members can still join the game. It's like a VIP list, except for gamers.

Heh, maybe the first thing I ever said on the internet that wasn't utterly useless :P

I find it really handy to type in %uk in server name and it pretty much grabs all uk based servers (as most have that in their name.)
