If you have seen saving private ryan, you might remember the scene where Tom Hanks character was wounded. Then after he resigned to sitting down a german tank drives past. He pulls out his pistol and shoots the tank with it.:laugh:

I remembered it when a special ops guy was running twoards my tank shooting it with a pistol (I had no gunner).

Have any of you been reminded of a certain movie while playing BF2??

well one time i got stranded on the island next to the carrier on dalian plant and had to make friends with a volleyball.

eventually i swam for it and cam across a boat.

my team said they thought i was dead and had elected a new commander, so i was no longer in charge.

Is that a yes?

i was in a helicopter crash...really high above the chines base on Dallian plant with 2 others.....we had to eat 1 person to survive

When im out of ammo (playing AT class) and cant find a resupply, i will usually jump infront of the tank i was pwning so i can respawn and finnish him off :p

The squad I was part of was flying around in the blackhawk capping flags. Just as we are taking off from a flag a none squad teamate starts running towards the chopper asking for a ride. Right behind him is a T-90 and about 5 enemy infantry. Our pilot wasnt going to wait around to get wasted so we took off and left him behind. This totally reminded me of the last minutes in the movie Platoon when the squad is being flown away in the huey leaving Willem Dafoe behind in the jungle with the entire Vietnamese army coming down on him.

I pulled a tom hanks, was the last guy left alive, and no chance in hell to capture a point, so I jumped off the smoke stack where I was hidding and rushed a tank, mobile AA...and an APC with my g36...then my pistol...then my knife...finally they killed me after charging that tank with my knife
