How could i map my ESC key to something else?

it's a coded application function key, you can't change it's binding.

Ok, No worries. I was wondering if i could because i hate hitting ESC to exit menus ect

Yeah, it sucks. Even after all this time, I still keep hitting the ESC key by reflex to cancel a text message. It's terribly annoying.
