    SAS Voices

Is it just me or do the SAS voices just sound wierd? I'm no expert on British linguistics, but the commander voice thing sounds constipated. Anyway if its just me or this is the 10th thread about this just ban/flame me or whatever.

Yes, there are about 10 threads about it or so I think.

From the IGN review of the expansion pack:

And the Brits should be pleased to have their own SAS shouting British things like "Oi!" and "Cheers, mate!"

No, I've never heard this theory before. Please - send me more interesting information on this subject.

Am I the only one that checked the box for English only?

Sure, maybe it takes away from part of the game and all the coding that went into the different voices...but it makes it better for me.

So rather than hear ching chang bing bang wooka wooka - I hear "I need a medic here" - and it does not require me to read...bonus!

Is that because you can't read or because it's just easier that way for you? Just curious.

Yes, I am illiterate - hence my number of posts on these forums.

I have been found out. Oh no, oh no, what to do now. How can I survive living this lie? (dripping in sarcasm)

I prefer keeping my sounds in english so that when I switch sides, there is consistency. I am a more effective squad member if I hear my teammate ask for First Aid - rather than hear my radio spammed with "Dirka Dirka!"
