I'm mapping BF2 maps into SF

Hi i've been looking through what you call is ''vanalla'' BF2 maps and compare it to SF maps and i found the teams are different so i copyed the bf2 map into sf and ''tickle'' with it untill i got it how i want it to and start sf and i load Karkand and wala! ''Navy SEALS vs. Insurgents'' (whats a ''insurgent''?) i hope to release 3 maps in 1 file Urban maps only but i want to test it with my brother,so i'll be doing Sharqi and Mashtuur City too

porting maps doesnt make you a mad scientist who mods bf2 maps. EDITING a map is NOT modding it.

I've been looking into this as well. It seems that you can do it by just modifying the server.zip, which is nice if you want to distribute a pack for this.

159 megs? What exactly did you do, I just got my own mod working and I only have around 2 megs per map.

Blah reguardless I would make a map with sf stuff anyway - its not like yer gonna get in trouble by releasing a free map - if it was for profit then it could be a problem.

I've always been a rule breaker though

What if I release a tutorial on how to do this? Would EA still get ticked...after all, you people would be the ones breaking the rules...heh.

I can understand why copying SF content into BF2 would upset EA, you can play SF without buying it. But whats wrong with copying BF2 content into SF ??? You must have bought both BF2 & SF to play this ?
