    nForce4 chipset drivers (6.70) and Nvidia Forceware (81.95)...are they the same?

    I bought a new computer and have been installing the latest drivers. I installed the Forceware 81.95 drivers and now I want to update the chipset drivers.
    When I go to the Nvidia website to update the chipset drivers (6.70), I click on...Driver Installation Hints. Its says:

    Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove

    This is the exact phrase it says when I updated my video drivers to 81.95. If I delete my display drivers, wont it delete my 81.95 drivers. Im a lil confused as to what to do.

    Asus A8N-SLI Premium
    EVGA 7800GTX

    You don't need to delete your display drivers to update your motherboard chipset drivers.

    nForce = motherboard chipset
    ForceWare = graphics card

    Simply run the nForce 6.70 installation and all will be fine.
