Some Interesting Stats.

Hey everybody,

Ive pulled some intresting stats from various FPS online play games.
These numbers are roughly the total amount of players playing on average during peak hours (dinner time)

7200 - Americas army

42000 - BF2

11000 - COD2

45000 - CS:S

300 - FEAR

1000 - HL2M

1100 - Quake 4

3000 - UT2004

2000 - HL:TFC

90000 - CS

BF2 is a rival to Counter Strike:Source, but im glad to see that alot of the idiots still play Counter Strike...I hope they stay there and out of the BF world.

Well, people CAN play CS AND BF2 ya know ... but yeah, I'm glad most CS players haven't migrated over yet

I have to say, I played a lot of multiplayer games in the last 5-6 years, and whenever I get tired of one, I go back playing counter strike again when there isn't another game out that I like .

do find it strange Quake 4 only has 1100 players, it should have been more popular, it used to be popular (older quake versions)

those ARE interesting. Funny thing.. i actually have been playing cs since around 99 or so.. anyhow.. tried a few other games in between.. but like the other guy said.. always went back to CS. CS:CZ / CS:S etc. for the past year though.. pretty much strickly CS:CZ War3 mod.

but I have to say.. i have now found the game that has probably taken me away for good. Vanilla BF2 and SF are both SWEET. all the things i WANTED to do in CS (ie: vehicles) i CAN finally do. most of the other games that you could do similar stuff in.,. frankly sucked.

but either way.. im a CS vet turned into a BF noob and proud. :p
