Warlord Palace drop in FPS

I posted about this before, but now I have it narrowed down. Is anyone noticing that when you're either in the palace courtyard or the palace itself in Warlord that you start to stutter and lag? I run BF2 and BF2: SF with absolutely no problems except for this one spot. My system is in my signature below on a fresh install of XP and all the latest drivers. There is NO REASON why this should be happening. Is anyone having the same problem? It only seems to lag when I'm in the palace or near it. I have all my unnecessary programs turned off when I play the game, and I'm running a cable connection.

P.S. Stop telling people to turn off their firewalls! That's suicide!!

I have the same problem in the palace. And also on the Iron Gater map. I run vanilla BF2 with no lag at all. But on these map LAAAAAAAAAAAAAG.

no lag whatsoever in either
but then all my settings are on medium

I noticed this too, even when I turned my settings down (which is so retarded having to do, runs fine in BF2, but in SF, turn everything to medium or suffer)

All my settings are on Medium, my viewing disatance is 80%, BattleField 2 runs fine, Special Forces isn't great on Warlord and Iron-Gator.

I was on a server today that lagged while playing the Warlord map. I said something about it and someone said that it was 'common knowledge' that this map was at fault. How could the map cause connection problems? Unlikely, anyhow I ended up losing my connection and connected to a different server (both 64 player servers/maps) with the Warlord map and there was no problem at all with it.

I get the same problem, A BUG i think it's somthing to do with colour palette change. Orange ?

One thing I have noticed with the Warlord and Iron-Gator map is that when I run straight ahead there is no stuttering, but as soon as I turn around to look it jumps like mad.
