Anti-Tank on Warlord

Ive been using this a lot today. It works pretty well.


In the Warlord map, If your playing Insurgents (It could work for SAS too I guess but ive been playing Insurgents a lot on that map lately) spawn as Anti-Tank at the Insurgents Hideout and Quickly Grapple Your way to one of the Taller Buildings near you. Usually by the time your up their a Tank or APC will have made its way close to you, and you can unload on them with the RPG-7. Some smarter players will figure your bulding out after a while so it could be wise to find another spot (across the street is a good place). I racked up quite a few kills doing this today. Almost got Basic AT Special Forces.

Get a medic, support and a sniper on that roof with you and you will be set.

I do that on the TV building, like all game long lol.

yeah if you have a good squad you could bring them all up there and cause havoc.

Is arty a problem on that building ?

Every one I seem to pick lately gets blown to shreds by enemy arty.

its alot different when you only have to dodge arty not get owned buy choppers and jets

Get a medic, support and a sniper on that roof with you and you will be set.

Unless you're up against a CO that's any good. He/she will arty you in a heartbeat.

Another tip that almost kinda off topic is to drive a pick-up truck into the parking complex right by the SAS uncappable spawn. park it in the corner so no one can see it until it's too late, and pick off the SAS that are busy trying to take over the TV plaza or whatever. Maybe it was just luck of the draw but I got 18 kills just by mowing down unsuspecting SAS and even a couple that were airbourne in their 'chutes.

I had some guy screaming "Hax!" at me the other day on Warlord because I was doing alot of killing with armor. Tried to votekick me, got all of 2 or 3 votes. Round one, they took a pounding, and there was MAYBE 1 or 2 AT classes.

Round two, damn near EVERYONE was AT, and I could barely roll down the street before getting cooked like an egg.

Round three, noone AT again, much death ensues, and the "Hax!" shout starts again.

Which makes me wonder. Do people just not know how badass those RPG7's are? No lock-tone, good damage... as a tank op, you don't even know one's around until half your armor blows off with no warning.

yea. i got with a squad and all we did is have three ats and one support, it was major ownage on anything that moved.

I like to "noscope" tanks with any anti-tank weapon!

the building on the other side of the TV staion is great , best way to get there is go to roof of TV staion, probably some sniper over there and ask him to deploy a zip to the roof .

Arty is your only enemy on that roof , but arty misses the roof a lot .

Also a great place for an AT guy is at the crashed BH , there is a small crater under the BH wich is a great hiding place
