Army Ribbons

It says on bf2s that its required to have 5 hours playing time as one of the new armies to gain a ribbon.

Well I am over 5 hours with SAS and MEC SF and I havent gotten any ribbon. Its not one of those sneaky ones where it just apears in your stats and its been a decent ammount of time since I passed 5 hours.

Is there an IAR requirement for these or what?

I have heard a rumor that these ribbons are still commented out and will be uncommented in a future patch. I don't know how much truth there is to it, though.
