I'm so torn!!!!! New PC, or PS3?

I need some opinions. I'm a really hardcore PC gamer, and I really love all things PC. I just built a nice gaming system this year, but I'm starting to get the itch to upgrade just because I happen to have the dough at the moment and I could possibly get an SLI setup going if I really wanted to. SO, should I build the new gaming PC, or should I just.......I almost can't say it..........buy a PS3 when they come out?

On the one hand, PC games absolutely rule, even if the new consoles have everyone's attention right now. On the other hand, the PS3 is cheaper. What do you guys think?

Get the PC upgrades!
Unless you often have people over to your house for gaming, in which case it's nice to have a console.

this is really not the right sight to ask that question....but i am also going through the same dellema...ps3 has the hardware of a computer 3 times its price.

by the time ps3 comes out i will own a very nice computer. screw consoles unless you always have freinds over wanting to play with you.

PC. Next year the xbox360 will be passed up, and the year after that so will the ps3.

Plus? your friends can't play on your pc? Get a large monitor and set up chairs around it like a tv, best thing to do with bf2 or cod2, and just take turns online.
