how can you get Crew Service (specialist) Ribbon with BH if there is no BH in SF ???!

There's a Blackhawk on the 64 player Ghost Town map by the SAS landing point.



Good luck with that though as there are two AAV's in the game and lot's of stationary anti-air.

how can you get Crew Service (specialist) Ribbon with BH if there is no BH in SF ???!

Check again when you play Ghost Town.

I'm inclined to think you need the driver ability assist.

The other day I was piloting the Hind for this sole purpose. My gunner was getting insane kills - topped 35+ - and I know I got 15 kills between pilot and gunner (we switched seats a couple times, but he sucked as pilot). I was getting pretty peaved because I knew I met the req's for the ribbon but did not get it. Then on one site I saw you needed the driver ability assist - I am thinking this does hold true.

I have not gone on a streak like that since to prove it wrong or right. I have not come that close to 20 assists and 10 kills since.

Ghost Town, Sas or on ghost town you could get in a whopper as gunner and get the 10 kills, while your *greedy* pilot will try to kill w/ rockets and get 20 kills... and when a rocket hits the chopper head on he loses health so if you a medic you can get that, or just get somewhere else in that game.

another thing: I can confirm that you CANNOT get the aerial service ribobon in BF2 vanilla, I ve tested it.

Have you missed the Blackhawk in Ghost Town? Spawns on the SAS mains pad.

I have, too, and I concluded that this award is locked until a future patch unlocks it...

are you telling me the you got a sf ribbon in bf2 vanilla?

I don't know about that, but I got my BF2 Staff Officer Ribbion as Commander while playing BF2:SF. It shows up in my BF2 Awards so it must be for BF2.

I think you can get the BF2 vanilla awards in SF, but it doesnt work in reverse.

OMG I'm so good I cant believe xD ... today I got this ribbon on Iron Gator. I was riding a hind and killed 31 guys and my gunner killed 30 !!!!! of course I won the round with the gold medal. LMAO that was a nasy rape
