Never one to TK, I took part in a 3 man knife gang-rape and had tears in my eyes at rounds' end. The only way to flush this from my system is to speak about it publicly. :)
First off, my #1 pet peeve has to be 'Active Commanding'....that being said, here's what went down:
Karkand-64, full server. Me and a clanmate are in TS and on the USMC side. 30 seconds into the map, no UAV. 2-3 minutes into the map I hear the arty firing, still no UAV, no spotting. 2 people in the server initiate kick votes vs. the commander, so me and clanmate follow with 2 more unsuccessful kickvotes.
4-5 mins in, still no UAV. Somehow we miraculously take the Hotel, so the 2 of us spawn there and push forward with the masses to the Square. We're on the backside of a building next to the square, taking cover from an armor battle, when I notice a guy next to me knifing a teammate and reviving him. I laugh at this, and watch him do it 2-3 times in a row. Then, I take a 2nd look at who he's knifing ---- its our commander!
This CO was such a nub he ticked this medic off to the point of tk'ing and reviving him, hoping he'd get the message. I proceed to use the com channel to talk to the CO, and then I follow with a few teamsay "DO YOUR F'ING JOB AND GO COMMAND". Mr. CO is obviously clueless and doesn't heed to anything.
So, I join in with the medic. We proceed to chase him back towards the hotel, knifing him several times over. I had tears in my eyes as 3 of us would rush after him, knife and revive. At one point he managed to drop some C4 and take 2 of us out, but I picked up the medics kit and revived him and my clanmate.
Since I had a decent score to start the map I ended up around -10 overall. I've never done anything like this before.....but wow, I was laughing sooo much.
The real irony of the story though -- the USMC won the map :laugh:
