error 17854:9 with EA Downloader

Hi

Is anyone else getting error 17854:9 when trying to install Special Forces?? I used to get error 32791 but that went away after a reboot. This really frustrating, I emailed EA on Friday morning and I still havent heard anything, despite their 24 hour response promise. Does anyone know any tricks/tips or know how to resolve it??

Have you tried redownlaoding the Ea Downloader?

Yes I just uninstalled it and am now redownloading

Im wondering if it is related to my hard drive setup.

I have a RAID 0 array with a 10GB C partition with just Windows XP on it, a 100GB D drive with all my program files/data on it and finally on a separate disk I have a partition set up for my profile/my documents (this has the Battlefield files in my documents)


will see what happens when it finished

well it fixed the problem! Now all I have to battle with is the lag and constant disconnections! Hooray!!
