Connection Problems

Hi folks, I've only started playing BF2 fairly recently but seem to be getting the 'Connection problem' message a lot during each game. It's very frustrating to say the least as I'm usually lagged for about 3-5secs each time it comes up and needless to say usually come back to the kit selection screen.

I have a great ping while I play, nothing running in the background and have defragged my drive and scanned for Spyware and Viruses. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be most happy to hear them.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions for me please, I'm really struggling to enjoy BF2 because of this problem.

Have you got a wireless Inet connection?

Not a wireless connection, it's 2Mb broadband.

its a problem with the 1.12 patch, its most likely not your pc/conn.
