SF uses up more RAM

Hi.
I checked my Task Manager while I'm playing SF and memory usage was taken at 1.63GB compare to BF2 which takes only about 1.34GB.
I noticed that my FPS drops dramatically sometime as low as 18 but BF2 is still vanilla. Is SF taking up more Ram caused Lagging issues and dropping FPS? ( plus i always play iTune )

BF2:SF uses about 10% more memory now for me. Im running 2GB.

I have the Logitech G15 keyboard and use the LCD to display my CPU/MEM while gaming and the memory bar fills up pretty quick.

This game needs some major optimizations.

BF2 - 60%
SF - 71% +/-

Yes but SF is also more complex as well.
